I have been fascinated by the little Fairy Wrens for some time now, and had been wanting to draw one in colored pencil. I found a usable image of this Variegated Fairy Wren, Malarus lamberti, and decided to draw it and enter it into a Juried show competition this Spring. I would love to do a whole series of these Wrens. They are found in Australia, the land of amazing wildlife. But then, I guess our Earth is the planet of amazing wildlife. #fairywren #australiafairywrens #mal
